String Light
String Light is an acoustic lighting made of 100% PET fiber with 60% recycled content. It is a dynamic lighting system that doubles as a sound-absorbing element that could be adopted to the desired length according to the users' need, making it ideal for both open plan layouts and small cozy rooms.
With kerf cutting, we tested how curved surfaces could be used for absorbing sound waves while creating an aesthetic element to the design. Every object, no matter how ordinary its purpose, could be transformed into a pleasing piece through a decorative yet functional manipulation. String Light can be flat packed.
